Jabz Bolsters Leadership Team, Welcomes Charly Williams as Vice President of Strategy and Growth

Rapidly Expanding Workout Concept Appoints Fitness Industry Operations Guru to Executive Team

November 12, 2020 // Franchising.com // PHOENIX - Jabz continues to build up its leadership team with talented fitness industry executives. Today, the full-body circuit style workout that utilizes boxing-inspired exercises, announced the appointment of Charly Williams as Vice President of Strategy and Growth. This is the third key addition to the company’s top brass this year, following the appointments of Danielle Scott as Brand President and Natalie Straub as Director of Concept and Innovation.

“I can’t express how much energy is behind Jabz, it just feels like the brand has a strong gust behind it. Jabz is ready to set sail from coast to coast and I am proud to be part of the team that is guiding the growth and the highly distinctive member experience,” said Williams, who previously held top operations roles with Solidcore and CorePower Yoga, a pair of the nation’s most revered fitness brands. “There are so many reasons for the entire Jabz community to be excited about the future. The brand architecture is built for today’s fitness enthusiasts who want a supportive community around them each and every day. Plus, the workout offers an incredible opportunity for members to enjoy their time at Jabz while making remarkable strides in their health and wellness.”

Williams began her career in the fitness industry at the ground level as a studio trainer. She worked her way up to studio manager, eventually becoming a regional operations manager. Williams joins the Jabz team with a strong foundation and confidence in the brand’s mission. In addition to her experience and demonstrated talents at driving expansion for fast-growing fitness concepts, her unique ability to lead cross-functional operations, recruitment, training, marketing and construction during this time of growth for Jabz will be instrumental.

“Charly is a difference maker. Her dynamic perspective on managing fitness studio operations across multiple regions and proven track record of efficiency boost support for our franchise system,” said Scott, who took over as Brand President in the first quarter of the year. “The knowledge of the fitness industry that she wields and commitment to success make her a great fit for the Jabz culture.”

Based in Scottsdale, Jabz is the leading boxing-inspired fitness concept due to its high intensity, results-driven workouts and a strong sense of community. The brand began franchising in 2013 and grew to 20 Arizona locations before deciding to expand nationally in 2019. Already in 2020, Jabz has signed agreements with entrepreneurs to open new locations in Florida, Texas, Maryland, Utah, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Jabz also launched two new studios in 2020, one in Peoria, Arizona and another in Aston, Pennsylvania. Its future franchising plans call for increasing its nationwide footprint into key markets such as Denver, Dallas-Fort Worth and Las Vegas, where it will establish an empowering community and energetic workout experience for members.

As the fitness concept continues to rapidly expand into attractive markets across the United States, Jabz is actively seeking qualified franchisees who are passionate about fitness and entrepreneurship. Supporting the expansion and ongoing operations, Jabz has partnered with ZGrowth, a consulting firm specializing in managing franchise sales, operations and brand development. In addition, ZGrowth maintains majority ownership in Jabz.
