A Recent Survey Conducted by Roto-Rooter Reveals that Households in Atlanta are Prone to Costly Plumbing and Drainage Problems

Roto-Rooter, North America’s Largest Provider of Plumbing and Drain Repair Services, Recommends Timely Repairs to Avoid Flushing Money Down the Toilet

ATLANTA (PRWEB) November 17, 2020 - Roto-Rooter, North America’s largest provider of plumbing and drain repair services, is pleased to announce their recent Thought Leader Survey results for Atlanta. Unfortunately for homeowners in the region, the survey suggests that residences in Atlanta and the South are prone to a number of potentially costly plumbing and drainage issues.

“While the majority of plumbing repairs in the U.S. fall within the $0-$5,000 range, the South tends to have more expensive plumbing problems overall,” says Austin Dressman, Public Relations Director. “We generally recommend addressing your plumbing issues early on to avoid high repair costs and inflated water bills later.”

The good news is that Southerners are more likely to have sewers and drains in better condition than the rest of the country, with 75.8% of households reporting no slow running drains.

Additional survey insights include:

  • 1 in 10 homeowners in Atlanta will suffer a plumbing problem that costs more than $10,000 to fix
  • 1 in 10 Atlantans have dripping faucets
  • Almost 1 in 5 households in Atlanta have running toilets or are not sure
  • More than 1 in 10 Atlantans suffer from water pressure problems

Homeowners should be aware that one leaky faucet can waste more than 3,000 gallons of water per year. Also, a running toilet can result in 26 gallons of water wasted per day “going down the toilet.”
