Leah LaClaire has dedicated her entire career to education and has spent over 13 years with Sylvan Learning. LaClaire worked her way from a tutor to director of education at the Essex, Vermont location before making the jump to the brand’s corporate office. After a successful stint at the corporate level, LaClaire was asked if she wanted to take over the Essex location herself. Having worked in nearly every aspect of the business, save for ownership itself, LaClaire knew becoming a franchisee was the right next step for her career.
