Former Teacher Joins Top Education Franchise by Opening Kumon Math and Reading Center of Harlingen

Today, Roshni Rama is excited to join the world's largest education franchise. As the proud owner of Kumon Math and Reading Center of Harlingen, she'll continue her passion for education, but have the independence of a small business owner.

Kumon is a supplemental education program that aims to unlock students’ full potential by increasing academic independence, confidence, and study skills. Through daily worksheet study, students enrolled in Kumon often end up mastering material far beyond grade level.

“I feel that Kumon can give students lifelong skills that will be beneficial to them throughout their lives,” said Roshni Rama, owner and Instructor of Kumon of Harlingen. “The self-learning aspect of the curriculum along with the way it builds confidence and increases independence makes it an invaluable opportunity for our youth.”

Rama’s background in education and her passion for developing her students made her a great candidate to become a Kumon Franchisee.
