Byrider And Boys & Girls Clubs Of Central OH Announce Partnership, Major Gift Back

April 02, 2021 // Franchising.com // On March 24, 2021, Byrider, one of America’s largest buy-here-pay-here used car dealerships and franchise systems, announced a new partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio. The partnership was announced via an online press conference by Byrider CEO, Craig Peters, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio CEO, Doug Wolf.

Byrider will work with members and staff at the clubs by engaging in Club programs like Pathways to P2 Success and Career Launch, as well as mentoring students who are planning their futures. This includes engagement with experienced professionals performing in a wide range of roles at Byrider, who can share their career experiences for soon-to-be career and education seekers. Additionally, Columbus-based Byrider employees will help with volunteer hours as pandemic restrictions lessen. Byrider also made a $10,000 contribution to the club as well, supporting the construction of the new Milo-Grogan Club location.

Craig Peters, Byrider’s CEO said, “We at Byrider are very excited about the relationship with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Ohio. It is important for us to provide resources for the Club to fulfill its mission. We’re also eager to engage directly with club members through the Club’s careers programs.”

“Thank you Byrider for your investment in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio,” said Doug Wolf. “How we spend our resources reveals our true values and priorities, and clearly Byrider values our young people and community. We look forward to a meaningful partnership with Byrider that connects young people to professionals at Byrider to give them the experience that matters today and in the future.”

This is one of several partnership announcements involving Byrider and regional Boys & Girls Clubs organizations as Byrider continues to grow its community support efforts.
