FirstLight Home Care Named a Top Recession-Proof Business for 2021 by Franchise Business Review

Independent Research Data Shows Franchisees Are Highly Satisfied with Their Investment in FirstLight

May 04, 2021 // Franchising.com // CINCINNATI, OHIO - FirstLight® Home Care was recently named a top franchise by Franchise Business Review in its report on the Top Recession-Proof Franchises for 2021.

FirstLight Home Care serves seniors, adults with disabilities, veterans, those recovering from illness, injury or surgery and other adults in need of in-home support. The company’s caregivers help with many needs – from personal hygiene and household duties such as cooking, cleaning and running errands to mobility assistance and dementia care.

Franchise Business Review (FBR) provides the only rankings of franchises based on franchisee satisfaction and performance. FBR publishes its rankings of top franchises in its annual Guide to Today’s Top Franchises, as well as in quarterly reports throughout the year that rank top franchises in specific sectors.

More than 31,000 franchisees representing nearly 300 franchise brands participated in Franchise Business Review’s franchisee satisfaction survey between July 2019 and February 2021. From the research, FirstLight Home Care was one of just 100 franchise brands to be identified as a Top Recession-Proof Franchise award winner and be featured on the list of the best recession-proof businesses to start.

FirstLight’s franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including training & support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations, and financial opportunity.

“Having franchisees who are extremely satisfied, especially during these historic times, is so important,” said Glee McAnanly, President of FirstLight Home Care. “People choose franchising because of the expertise, support and community they have behind them. The pandemic has affected all our franchisees in some way, but we have come together as a system to support, protect and be there for one another. And we continue to come out stronger because of it.”
