The new South Tampa will be the second location that is owned and operated by Lesly and Michael Olavarria, the couple opened their first theCoderSchool in New Tampa last summer and has plans to open a third in Carrollwood. The Olavarria’s New Tampa location has seen great success and increasing demand since their initial opening. The couple are looking to forward providing the Tampa community with more access to their classes and camps.

“We always had plans to expand with theCoderSchool within Tampa but never imagined the community requesting us to open a second school so quickly after we opened in New Tampa,” Lesly said. “Our communities support this past year has been amazing and we are excited to continue to inspire and teach the kids within our community.”

Founded by Hansel Lynn and incubated with the help of his best friend, Wayne Teng, theCoderSchool was built to provide children aged 7 to 18 years with a welcoming environment to develop computer programming skills. theCoderSchool uses a variety of platforms to teach various coding languages, such as HTML, CSS, Python, Javascript and more. Every Code Coaching lesson is customized with the help of trained Code Coaches® who use a 2-on-1 approach to teaching.

“We are impressed by both Lesly and Michael’s drive and the passion they have to continue our mission and expand across Florida,” stated Lynn. “The community of Tampa has really welcomed theCoderSchool and has shown great support. We are looking forward to see the impact that both Lesly and Michael continue to make within the Tampa communities.”
