GNC Announces New Global Headquarters and Plans to Hire 100+ Employees in Pittsburgh to Support Growth

GNC will shape the future of the health & wellness industry from new home in Pittsburgh's vibrant Strip District

PITTSBURGH, June 15, 2021 // PRNewswire // - Global health and wellness brand GNC today announced that the Company will be moving to a new headquarters location within the Pittsburgh metro area in early 2022, building on its 85-year history in the city. As the industry continues growing and evolving at a rapid pace, GNC also intends to hire more than 100 new employees over the next few months in Pittsburgh to support its growth and remain at the forefront of new trends in the space.

The new headquarters will be located at 75 Hopper Place in Pittsburgh's 3 Crossings development. Located within the vibrant Strip District neighborhood, 3 Crossings is the premier urban corporate campus for Pittsburgh. The location is currently under construction by Oxford Development Company and boasts a long list of amenities including a fitness center for employee use and several connections to the outdoors. As part of this transition, GNC also expects to soon be under contract with a buyer for its current headquarters located at 300 Sixth Ave.

GNC plans to move into the new location immediately when it is ready for tenants early next year. The Company is excited to introduce employees to their new, state-of-the-art office space which will promote efficiency, collaboration and flexibility. In line with these goals, GNC is developing new flexible work policies to align with today's changing workplace environment.

Over the next few months, GNC will also hire more than 100 new roles in the new headquarters across its business functions to right size workload, drive its growth strategy forward and position itself to capitalize on trends in the space faster than ever before.
