The company's historic move to be the first national soul food chain along with their innovative approach to serving and presenting the cuisine is part of what helped secure the win.

Nicknamed the Stevie's for the Greek word meaning "crowned," the American Business Awards are the U.S.A.'s premier business awards program. More than 3,800 nominations were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. This was a record number of entries.
