National Driving School Brand Steering in the Right Direction with Increased Enrollment and New Franchise Deals

The Driver Training Group Isn’t Pumping the Brakes

July 21, 2021 // Franchising.com // SAMMAMISH, Wash. - The Driver Training Group, a multi-brand drivers education company including 911 Driving School, SWERVE Driving School and igottadrive.com online driving school continues to revolutionize driver’s education across the country.

In the past six months, the nation’s leading provider of cutting-edge driver’s education programs for teens, adults and mature drivers has enrolled over 30,000 students and exceeded nearly $12 million in franchise system revenues, which includes a 47% increase in year over year revenues between January and June 2021.

The Driver Training Group, which was founded in 2002, has been well received by entrepreneurs across the country, adding four new driving school locations since January 2021. The brands combined have more than 80 locations open coast-to-coast.

“2021 has been a phenomenal year for us thus far,” said Joe Giammona, CEO of The Driver Training Group. “Looking back 16 months, we have so many successes to be thankful for - and even more to look forward to this year. We plan to utilize the momentum we’ve established and continue to redefine driver’s education and produce the next generation of safe drivers across the country.”

The Driver Training Group was created to make the nation’s roads and highways safer for all drivers, by inspiring, educating, engaging and motivating drivers to perform safely and responsibly behind the wheel. It has developed multiple programs for teens and adults, including government and corporate fleet drivers that go beyond traditional driving lessons or driver’s education courses. Instructors prepare students mentally for driving on the road by helping them understand the driving environment, develop the ability to assess their risks and capabilities in a variety of different driving situations, and to be aware of the limits of their vehicle.

“The success achieved has provided us the opportunity to further improve and perfect not only our brand, but also our franchise opportunity,” added Giammona. “We’re eager to continue building a solid foundation for our brands and can’t wait to see what other incredible opportunities are ahead of us.”
