Postal Connections/iSOLD It “Packs” 2021 with Record Setting Performance

Sales Surge as Modernized Shopping Trends Prove Long-Term Durability

August 18, 2021 // Franchising.com // FRISCO, Texas - Postal Connections is “packing” a punch in 2021.

As e-commerce electrifies shopping with new and innovative platforms, Postal Connections has captured a preeminent market positioning among the nation’s providers of retail packaging, shipping, mail receiving and eBay customer-sales support.

Thus far in 2021, Postal Connections/iSOLD It service centers have escalated sales in a dramatic fashion, well ahead of the franchise business’ busy fall and winter holiday seasons. Same-store service center sales surge up 23% nationwide in first six months over 2020 during the same time frame. The strong performance this year comes on the heels of an impressive 2020, when, despite pandemic-related challenges, Postal Connections generated an annual 9.8% increase in systemwide sales over 2019.

“The relevancy of our brand as consumer and business trends are changing cannot be understated,” said Fred Morache, COO of Postal Connections/iSOLD It. “With more individuals working from home, more businesses reliant on us for support and more consumers shopping online, our services are a necessity, and we are happy to meet the time-saving and convenience needs of everyone.”

Notably, a service center in Boise, Idaho, headed by accomplished retail industry executive Ron Bishop, is up in sales over 75% in 2021 over 2020. Similarly, across the country, the sales surge has been steady during the past two years. In 2020, three-quarters of the 46 Postal Connections/iSOLD It service centers achieved record-setting annual sales.

“The bottom line is that we are connecting fantastically with what our community needs,” said Ron Bishop, Postal Connections/iSOLD It franchisee. “As long as we continue to stand out from the pack with the best customer service in the area, the sky is the limit for us.”

In Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Franchisee Forrest Brackbill gained a 153% sales increase for the first 6-months of 2021 over the first half of 2020. “My sales increases come from adding support to web businesses with packaging, shipping and back-office support. Currently, the challenge is keeping up with growing client business sold online, shipped both nationally and internationally as well.”

Reinforcing the concept’s strength, during the last several months, Postal Connections/iSOLD It opened new locations in Idaho, Delaware and Oregon. This fall, the brand is slated to open locations in Broward County, Florida, and Bend, Oregon.

Based in Frisco, Texas, Postal Connections/iSOLD It is more than a pack and ship store. Rather, the concept has established itself as a provider of a wide array of business and personal services, offering convenient access to postal products, mail receiving, shipping with leading carriers, drop-offs packages sending returns back to online merchants, freight, printing, creative services, copying, fax, passport photos, notary, shredding, digital fingerprinting and other hard to find services. iSOLD It® on eBay is a new service being introduced where Postal Connections service centers offer free valuation of customer items, listings for sale on eBay and the customer only pays a portion of the sale price when an items is sold.
