School Of Rock Denver Is Ready To Rock N’ Roll

The Denver grand re-opening event includes an ice cream social, live music from instructors, free tours and more!

August 31, 2021 // Franchising.com // Denver, CO. - School of Rock, performance-based music education, announces the grand re-opening of School of Rock Denver in Denver, Colorado. The event will take place at 560 South Holly Street #15, Denver, Colorado, 80246, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. MDT, on Friday, September 3. Along with an ice cream truck that will provide complimentary treats to attendees, the event will offer live music by the School of Rock Denver House Band, who recently performed at a sold-out show at Red Rocks Amphitheater, tours of the school, and signups for free trial lessons on the electric guitar, drums, bass guitar, piano/keys and vocals.

Opening in 2009, School of Rock Denver was acquired seven years ago by Jim Johnson and recently his team moved into a new facility. During the pandemic, he managed to keep their award-winning music programs safely operating, even throughout the shutdown, as well as to oversee the construction of the new studio.  This included building and equipping the two large live rehearsal rooms that are at the core of their program, where students gather to play music together as a band as they prepare to take the stage at local rock venues.

“Even with the difficulties caused by the pandemic, School of Rock Denver was able to adapt to support our students, with the goal of safely returning them to the stage as soon as possible," said Johnson, a 25-year veteran of the local music community. “This grand re-opening is another way to show our community that we are constantly working hard to provide a fun and collaborative environment for our students to learn music.”

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.

“Jim Johnson is truly dedicated to bringing the School of Rock experience to every student in the Denver community,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock. “We are proud to have him as part of the School of Rock family, and we look forward to watching his enterprise grow with this new location.”
