School Of Rock Farmington Is Ready To Rock N’ Roll

The Farmington re-grand opening event includes a guitar smashing, live music, free tours, giveaways and more!

September 15, 2021 // Franchising.com // Farmington, MI. - School of Rock, a performance-based music education franchise, announces the grand opening of a new school in the Farmington, MI community. The event will take place at 22730 Orchard Lake Road, Farmington, MI 48336, on Saturday, September 18. Along with a ceremonial guitar smashing (School of Rock’s version of a ribbon-cutting), the event will offer live music, tours and giveaways.

School of Rock Farmington is owned by Chris and Megan Marek. They built School of Rock Canton before their decision to acquire the Farmington location. With their experience and passion for music, the Mareks are excited to build on the rich history of this 10 year old location.

“With our ongoing success at our Canton location, we jumped at the chance to operate a second location in Farmington and provide even more kids with an opportunity for a dynamic music education,” said Chris Marek. “We are constantly working hard to provide a fun and collaborative environment for our students to learn music.”

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.

“Chris Marek has such a strong motivation for providing students in his community the creative and personal development through music education,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock. “I know he will go above and beyond in delivering upon our purpose. I am excited to see how this new school will positively impact the lives of its students and the community as a whole.”
