School Of Rock Andersonville Is Ready To Rock N’ Roll

The Andersonville grand opening event includes live performances, food and more!

October 19, 2021 // Franchising.com // Andersonville (Chicago), IL. - School of Rock, performance-based music education franchise, announces the grand opening of a new school in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The event will take place at 5600 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, IL 60660, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., on Saturday, October 23. Along with live performances, the event will offer tours of the school, food, and activities for kids.

School of Rock Andersonville is owned by Jim Sellers and Lisa Beacom. Their passion to open a School of Rock came from their desire to pass on their love of music and unique knowledge gained over many years performing. With decades of performance experience, they’re determined to make School of Rock an exceptional destination where students can have fun rocking out with their classmates while receiving quality music training.

“Studying music can be a powerful way to develop the brain and heal the spirit, and there is no greater teacher than the stage,” said Jim Sellers. “Getting ready for a show with a band teaches students many things that don’t come up in private lessons. Every performance builds confidence in ways that can’t be duplicated. We want to create a positive environment and a community of musicians who support each other and encourage continuous growth.”

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons, and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.

“Jim and Lisa are passionate about their community and providing opportunities for students to further their music education,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock. “We are delighted to have them lead this franchise and we look forward to the impact they will have on their students.”
