LaRosa’s Newest “Laro To Go” Better Serves Busy Families

Delhi Pike Pizzeria a New Twist on Familiar Service

October 25, 2021 // Franchising.com // CINCINNATI, OHIO - LaRosa’s has opened its first pizzeria specifically built to be a LaRo To Go at 4289 Delhi Pike on Cincinnati’s west side. LaRo to Go is a new service model dedicated to making guests’ lives easier. It combines LaRosa’s ordering technology with ultra-convenient pick-up and delivery options.

With LaRo to Go, a busy parent can order and pay with LaRosa’s app, online or by phone, pick up the kids and roll through the new Drive-Up Pick-Up window without having to get out of the car. In the time it takes to complete a short trip, they have a hot, delicious meal to serve the family when they get home. LaRo to Go still delivers in the neighborhood, as always, so, if that same parent can’t stop by the pizzeria, they can use their favorite device to order, pay and get a contactless delivery for when they are home.

“LaRo to Go is our way of making all our convenience features work better together in one pizzeria. Our online ordering and ordering app with the Drive-Up Pick-Up window or contactless delivery is a game changer for our guests on busy Friday nights,” said Mike LaRosa, LaRosa’s CEO.

The Delhi Pike pizzeria is the first location specifically built to be a LaRo to Go (Seven Hills and Bridgetown were both renovations). Over the past several months, LaRosa’s built the new building next to the existing pizzeria to limit interruption and continue to serve guests. As the new LaRo to Go was finished, the existing building was closed, new equipment moved into the LaRo to Go, and the former pizzeria was demolished and cleared. The rebranded interior and exterior of the Delhi Pike LaRo to Go will be a model for others to be built in the future.

An earlier pizza business evolution caused LaRosa’s to begin serving delivery and pick up guests from this same Delhi Pike location over 35 years ago. LaRosa’s pizza delivery was only two years old then but was making it increasingly difficult for LaRosa’s west side pizzerias to serve densely populated Delhi.

The latest evolution fueling the need for LaRo to Go is guest demand to use technology to take “friction” out of their interactions with restaurants. “Our guests want to use technology to make their lives easier,” said LaRosa. “We’re doing that by combining quick and easy ordering that’s as close as the device in their pockets with our Drive-Up Pick-Up window or contactless delivery,” LaRosa continued.

As the limitations of the pandemic fade away and family and friends can safely gather again, LaRo to Go will make feeding that crowd convenient, too. Guests can build their catering order online and a Catering Specialist will call within 15 minutes to confirm the order and arrange payment- another way to make life easier.

LaRosa’s officially opened the latest LaRo to Go at 4289 Delhi Pike today with a ribbon cutting, including Delhi Township officials and LaRosa’s executives.
