Pet Evolution Looks Ahead to a Big Year in 2022
Health-focused dog food & supply store ends 2021 on a high note, looking to continue its success in the new year
January 19, 2022 // Franchising.com // WOODBURY, Minn. - Pet Evolution, a locally owned, healthy pet supply store dedicated to providing the highest quality products, is preparing for a busy year after rounding out 2021 with many successes including a number of development deals, an addition to their leadership team, and a partnership that will help the brand give back to its community.
In 2021, Pet Evolution sold eight new regional development deals in addition to 11 franchise licenses. The brand welcomed a new Senior Vice President of Operations, Lisa O’Brien, to their team. O’Brien has over 10 years of experience in franchising and has been a loyal customer of Pet Evolution since it opened.
Pet Evolution also announced a national cause marketing partnership with Make-a-Wish Foundation to help give back to the communities it operates within. This partnership does not come as a shock as the brand is consistently involved in the community and supports other organizations such as local animal shelters.
To top off the year, the brand’s flagship store surpassed $2.1 million in revenue in response to the rapid growth within the pet industry. By providing quality food, nutrition supplements, grooming services and more, Pet Evolution has been able to give the best of the best to its many loyal customers.
Pet Evolution is opening its first franchise locations in Minnesota and Houston, Texas in Q1 and Q2 of this year.

Pet Evolution was founded in 2012 by friends Rian Thiele and Mike Osborn, after both having watched their childhood dogs suffer through the itchy paws, chronic ear infections, and multiple vet trips of undiagnosed food allergies.
Pet Evolution began franchising after Peter Carlson, President of Pet Evolution Franchising, LLC, fell in love with the brand, and he remains a loyal customer to this day. Before joining the team, Peter turned to Pet Evolution as his Standard Poodle, Leo, struggled with digestive and allergy issues, following countless tries with other products with no results. After switching to products endorsed by their team, Peter immediately saw positive results that led to his dog living a happier life.
