Waters Edge Winery & Bistro Of Moore, Oklahoma Now Open On South Broadway Avenue

January 27, 2022 // Franchising.com // MOORE, OK - Waters Edge Winery & Bistro of Moore, OK, an innovative micro- winery, is now open on South Broadway Avenue. Led by husband-and-wife duo Mara and Mike English, the new venue combines elements of a traditional winemaking experience with the popular wine bar concept.

“As longtime residents of Moore, and with our entrepreneurial mindset, we are always looking for opportunities to bring new experiences to our community,” said Mara. “We are so excited to open this unique destination for enjoying and learning about wine. We’ve received such a warm welcoming from the community so far and look forward to hosting our neighbors and visitors in our new space.”

Waters Edge Winery & Bistro of Moore is conveniently located just 11 miles outside of Oklahoma City. The interior showcases soaring 20-foot ceilings and an industrial wine shelf crafted from dark wood and concrete. The new location also features a spacious lawn that the team eventually hopes to convert into additional seating areas for guests. The grand opening will consist of consecutive ribbon cuttings with the South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce and the Moore Chamber of Commerce, taking place today, January 27, and tomorrow, January 28.

The Moore location offers a variety of wines, all made in-house, for guests to enjoy including prominent varietals such as Merlots, Cabernets, and Chardonnays. Other rare wines such as Barolos, Pinotages, and Petit Verdot are available alongside unique adaptations including Peach Apricot Sangria and Cranberry Sangria. Their “grazing” menu serves as a unique twist with small bites including charcuterie, flatbreads, sandwiches and salads, as well as a variety of popcorn flavors provided by Mara and Mike’s separate concession business.
