Better Homes And Gardens Real Estate Wine Country Group Partners With Ming Tree Realtors

Move creates a 250-mile contiguous service area spanning five counties from San Francisco to the Oregon border

March 23, 2022 // Franchising.com // SONOMA/EUREKA, Calif. - Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wine Country Group, headquartered in Sonoma, Calif., announced today its partnership with Ming Tree Realtors based in Eureka, Calif.

The combined organization now consists of 12 offices and more than 180 affiliated sales associates serving Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Lake and Humboldt counties. Ming Tree Realtors, a family-owned firm serving Humboldt County for 50 years, will operate as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Ming Tree as part of the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wine Country Group family of companies.

Last year, their combined success included 1,081 transaction sides equating to more than $510 million in sales volume in 2021. This partnership will grow the company by approximately 25%.

Randy Coffman will remain President and Gerry Snedaker, Broker/Partner, of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wine Country Group, which joined the BHGRE® brand in 2015. The company has won several recent brand and industry awards, including recognition as a top 20 BHGRE® affiliate in the nation based on sales volume in 2021, 2021 REAL Trends Nation’s Best Brokerages, 2021 NorthBay Biz Top 500 Company, The Press Democrat People’s Choice Award for 2021 Best Real Estate Company in Sonoma County and finalist in Rotary Club of Northern California’s Most Ethical Companies awards.

Second-generation broker and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Ming Tree general manager Larry Doss will lead the Humboldt County operations with a focus on residential, land, ranch, commercial and investment properties in Northwest California.

  • The company will continue its focus on full market service, luxury properties, vineyards and land sales.
  • Coffman has been in the real estate industry for more than 35 years as an agent, manager and broker/owner. He was previously recognized as Sebastopol’s REALTOR® of the Year.
  • Humboldt County, known for its coastal redwoods, is now home to the newest California State Polytechnic University campus located in Arcata. Several proposed economic development projects, including a wind energy farm and an Atlantic salmon farm, could create new job growth to support the region’s healthcare, education, agriculture and service industries.
