Entrepreneur Brings Innovative Regenerative Medicine Clinic to Wilmington
QC Kinetix opens a new clinic to help relieve pain
March 31, 2022 // Franchising.com // WILMINGTON, N.C. - QC Kinetix, a regenerative medicine franchise and offers a cutting-edge, non-surgical alternative to joint and pain relief, recently opened in Wilmington.
North Carolina businessman and UNCW grad Tim Furman opened his clinic in March right across from Landfall at Military Cutoff and Eastwood Road. Furman has a background in the healthcare field and is excited to bring the future of medicine to the Port City. His goal is to provide the best regenerative medicine care in the area and provide life-changing treatments to everyone who needs it.
“This is an excellent alternative for a lot of people in pain,” says Furman. “I have been through joint (shoulder) surgery, and it is not fun. It is very invasive, and it’s not always the best solution. I am thrilled to bring QC Kinetix to people in the Wilmington area, so they have another option to the operating room or prescription pain medicines. The feedback we have had from patients is very positive. They are excited to have us here, and we are excited to be here.”
QC Kinetix uses all-natural biologic protocols to stimulate the body to repair or heal its own damaged tissues and joints. It’s an alternative to surgery, NSAIDs, and pain pills that mask the pain but don’t repair the problem. For patients seeking relief from pain due to musculoskeletal injury, chronic joint pain, or hip, knee, back, or shoulder pain, regenerative procedures are the next frontier for treatment.
Former Dallas Cowboy great and NFL MVP, Emmitt Smith is the official spokesperson for QC Kinetix. He knows firsthand the need for innovative chronic pain treatments that help people get back to their active lifestyles. It used to be only elite athletes like Smith had access to regenerative medicine treatments, but rapid growth and innovation in the field have made the treatments accessible to everyone.
“Wilmington has so many people who will benefit from these treatments, from retirees to anyone who enjoys living an active lifestyle and doesn’t want to give it up to pain,” says Furman. “For me personally, being a part of a company whose mission is to improve peoples’ quality of life without drugs or surgery is very rewarding. This is a great fit for me, and I think it will be for the Wilmington community, too.”
Justin Crowell, CEO of Charlotte-based QC Kinetix, is confident that Furman and his team will be a tremendous asset to the QC Kinetix franchise.
“Tim is an ideal QC Kinetix franchisee,” says Crowell. “He has an impressive business background and a great track record of success. I am confident he will thrive as the newest member of the QC Kinetix family, and we are thrilled to have him on our team.”
The QC Kinetix is a type of concierge medicine, which continues to grow in popularity. There is no haggling with insurance companies. Patients pay cash and get a very high level of care and service with state-of-the-art treatments. Every patient receives quality time with their medical provider and a customized plan of treatment based on their individual diagnosis and condition.
