BD’s Mongolian Grill is Bringing a Tokyo Street Food Staple to a Table Near You

Create-Your-Own Stir fry Concept Launches Tokyo Metro Noodles and Introduces a Brand-New Asian-Spin on a Classic Cocktail

May 25, 2022 // Franchising.com // DALLAS - BD’s Mongolian Grill has just introduced its new Tokyo Metro Noodles.

Traditionally known for offering guests the opportunity to build their own entrees, BD’s is now offering guests delicious bowls created by their expert Chefs, made to order and delivered right to the table. This way, every guest can be served exactly as they want to be. Available May 26 through August 16, BD’s fans and new guests alike are invited to treat their tastebuds with the unique chef-crafted bowl, featuring premium sirloin steak tips, red bell pepper, edamame, shitake mushrooms, carrots and yakisoba noodles, tossed in our house-made Shanghai sriracha sauce. Guests can also pair this delicious bowl with a brand-new craft cocktail, an Asian-spin on an American classic, the Tom Collins. BD’s version is the Lychee Elderflower Collins, shaken with Ketel One™ Vodka, St-GermainÒ Elderflower Liqueur, REAL™ Lychee Syrup, Fresh Lemon Sour and Club Soda. This cocktail will be available for only $6 for a limited time only.

“Guests are in for a treat with our new chef-crafted Tokyo Metro Noodle bowl,” said Gregg Majewski, Chief Executive Officer of BD’s Mongolian Grill. “This bowl is absolutely palate-pleasing and we are beyond thrilled to be able to continue to broaden our appeal for new and existing guests by introducing even more innovative menu items. Chef-crafted bowls are a relatively new concept for us, and when we tested this bowl in our Chicago-area locations, it quickly became one of our best-selling menu items. We look forward to continuing to make every guest experience the best and offering new flavor profiles to broaden our appeal to even more people.”

Speaking of innovation and thinking differently, BD’s is also debuting a brand-new appetizer that’s a unique spin on a Southwestern classic. The Korean Quesadilla launches 5/26, and features chicken breast seasoned with spicy gochujang, honey, lemon, rice vinegar and garlic. The unique ingredient here is Kimchi - one of Asia’s most enduring condiments - that makes this quesadilla truly one of a kind. Available for only $9.99, the Korean Quesadilla is served with scratch-made chili crisp ranch.

BD’s has more than 80 fresh ingredients that are carefully cut and prepped every day, ensuring the perfect bite in each bowl. No matter what you're craving or where you want to enjoy your meal, you're always in control at BD’s. The brand offers fans broad appeal and caters to various flavor preferences and lifestyles by offering keto, gluten-free, low-carb, vegan and vegetarian options. The Tokyo Metro Noodles is the latest in the restaurant’s line of chef-curated bowls, available for quick order online or to order from the table, versus making your way through the Fresh Market Bar the traditional way. These bowls aim to appeal to new and existing guests that prefer to let the BD’s chef’s do all the work.
