Broadway Experience For Budding Young Performers

Or perhaps attend workshops led by Broadway musical theatre stars? With an action-packed itinerary that will be a dream holiday for any budding young performer, Razzamataz Theatre Schools are delighted to announce the New York and Broadway experience.

This is truly a once in a lifetime event and is being created by Razzamataz, a national network of part-time theatre schools across the UK, in association with Premiership Experience.

The trip is scheduled for the October half term in 2023 and is exclusively available to existing and new Razzamataz students. Previous experience is not necessary as the team of professionals will support all young people regardless of past performing arts training, so this is an incredible chance for young people with raw talent to pursue their dreams. The six-day holiday combines the iconic New York sights with special Broadway performing arts opportunities, all catered specifically to the needs of the Razzamataz students and families.

There are many highlights but for any young people with a dream of working as a professional performer, they will get to experience a unique opportunity of taking workshops and classes with Broadway cast members and industry professionals.

The students will get to go to class at The Broadway Dance Centre, an iconic New York dance studio that opened in 1984 and has an array of superstar alumni. Back in the day, it was common for Britney Spears, NSYNC and even Madonna to take a class at the studio.

Any budding singers will love the visit to The Voice Academy for a singing workshop where they will be taken through tips and techniques to help breath control, song performance with dynamics and emotions, preparing for auditions and live events and many other aspects to develop a stronger and more confident voice.

After taking part in their own training to enhance their performance, the students and families will get to go to two live Broadway shows as well as Ellen’s Stardust Diner, an unforgettable dining experience, home of the world-famous singing waiters.

A trip to New York would not be complete without seeing some of the sights. The Razzamataz students and their families will be treated to the Top of the Rock Experience, Statue of Liberty Ferry, visit to Central Park and free time to explore the retail delights of the city.

The trip includes a 3 / 4* Partner Hotel.
The trip includes flights from a choice of UK airports including Manchester, London and Scotland.
Travel will be during half term dates tbc but Friday 20th-Tuesday 24 October 2023 are the likely/preferred dates.
Two people to a room as this is how almost all NYC hotels are configured.
The package price is £2299 per person.

The trip is exclusively available to Razzamataz students, although new students can apply to join their local school and sign up for this experience.
