Wings Etc. Grill & Pub Named a 2022 Top Food Franchise by Franchise Business Review
July 21, 2022 // Franchising.com // FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Wings Etc. Grill & Pub was named an award-winning franchise by Franchise Business Review in its 2022 report on the Top Food and Beverage Franchises.
Wings Etc., a family-friend grill and pub with a diverse menu, was founded by Jim Weaver in the South Bend, Indiana area, and has seen consistent growth since its first location opened in 1994. Wings Etc.’s menu features award-winning jumbo Buffalo wings, over 20 signature sauces and rubs, premium burgers, wraps, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, subs, kid’s meals, and over 40 domestic and craft beer selections in bottles and on tap. Wings Etc. locations include dozens of large HDTVs tuned to sports programming and features a casual, non-corporate-y, laid-back “vibe.”
Franchise Business Review, a market research firm that performs independent surveys of franchisee satisfaction, provides the only ranking of franchises based solely on actual franchisee satisfaction. Franchise Business Review publishes rankings of the top franchises in its annual Guide to Today’s Top Franchises, as well as special interest reports throughout the year recognizing the top franchises in specific sectors.
To select the companies on this year’s list of top food franchises, Franchise Business Review analyzed 18 months’ worth of data from over 10,500 franchise owners in the food sector regarding their overall satisfaction with their brands and their likelihood to recommend them to others.
Wings Etc.’s franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including training & support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations, and financial opportunity.
“We are humbled and encouraged that the Franchise Business Review benchmark survey, taken by our franchise owners, resulted in Wings Etc. being named one of only 38 Top Food Franchises in 2022. Much of our growth comes from existing franchisees opening new locations—evidence that our franchisees believe in the system and love being part of the Wings Etc. family,” said George Pasick, CFE, Senior Director of Franchise Development.
“The food franchise sector is historically one of the toughest but delivers a tremendous return on investment for many,” added Eric Stites, CEO of Franchise Business Review. “The key is to choose the right brand. The award-winning brands on our list of the Top Food Franchises rate 15% - 25% higher on average in overall franchisee satisfaction over other food competitors. That data is very telling in that it provides real insight for someone considering investing in a franchise into the companies that are performing well in the areas critical to their franchisees’ success.”
