Rebecca Hoover Joins Bach to Rock Music School as Director of Marketing

Specializing in Digital Marketing and Franchisee Relations

October 04, 2022 // Franchising.com // Bethesda, MD - Bach to Rock today announced Rebecca Hoover has been named Director of Marketing. In this position, she will be responsible for growing the Bach to Rock brand, including managing national advertising and marketing, advising the Bach to Rock music school network on local and digital marketing, and supporting franchise expansion efforts.

Rebecca comes to Bach to Rock from Engineering for Kids, where she held several positions of increasing responsibility, including Executive Director of the Engineering for Kids Foundation, Director of Community Relations, Social Media Marketing Manager, and Manager of Marketing and Franchise Support. She managed social media content and activity for four brands and increased social reach by 35% in one year across all channels. Rebecca provided social media and marketing support to domestic and international franchisees, helping Engineering for Kids reach over one million students. Prior to Engineering for Kids, Rebecca was a franchise owner of Acti-Kare In-Home Care, where she oversaw business operations and directed company growth

“We are delighted to welcome Rebecca to our marketing team. Her strengths in social media, digital advertising, website management and SEO will be tremendous assets for expanding the Bach to Rock brand. And her first-hand knowledge of the franchisor-franchisee relationship has helped make her transition to Bach to Rock seamless,” said Brian Gross, president of Bach to Rock. “Rebecca’s creativity, enthusiasm and collaborative approach align perfectly with our ethos and make her a perfect addition to Bach to Rock.”

Bach to Rock’s unique approach to music education was one of the reasons Rebecca joined the company.  “We break down the traditional ‘rules’ of music education and make learning an instrument fun and engaging. We let students choose what songs they play, which means they could be playing Bruno Mars or Taylor Swift instead of ’Mary Had a Little Lamb,’” said Rebecca.

An important attribute Rebecca brings to Bach to Rock is her experience as a franchise owner. “While most of my career has been on the franchisor side, I also co-owned a local in-home senior care franchise business. I know what was important to me as a franchisee, which allows me to put myself in the shoes of our franchisees to understand what resources they will benefit from,” she added.
