New Spherion Office Opening in Austin to Connect Job Seekers with Local Businesses

Local Businessman Launches Recruiting and Staffing Office to Meet Regional Labor Demand

November 02, 2022 // Franchising.com // AUSTIN, Texas - Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) announced today it will open a new office to serve the Austin area. Lati Bouraima, a highly successful local businessman, will open the new location on November first to fill temporary, temporary-to-hire and direct-hire roles across a variety of sectors with a priority on light industrial and call center/service jobs.

“I instantly fell in love with Spherion’s history, core values and most notably, its people,” said Bouraima. “Throughout my life, I have been able to build my dreams into reality through constant discipline and drive, and I want to inspire others to reach their own goals just as I have. Our mission with Spherion is to lead job seekers in the Austin community to new heights, helping to transform their lives for the better.”

Originally from Togo in West Africa, Bouraima moved to the United States in 1989 in pursuit of a degree at New York University. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and professional studies, he entered the corporate world and worked for companies like Dell Computers and Sprint, Inc. before pursuing automotive sales. He then moved to Austin, where he met his wife of 14 years, LaTrice, and together they raised two children. After several successful years at Subaru Of Georgetown, Bouraima developed strong connections within the local community and built management and operations skills that will provide an excellent foundation for his Spherion location.

“From the beginning, Lati has blown us away with his enthusiasm and engagement for the work we do,” said Rebecca Rogers Tijerino, president of Spherion. “He knows firsthand the importance of unwavering determination, and this, along with his extensive business background, will drive the Spherion Austin office to success.”
