Olathe Couple Celebrates Grand Opening of First Goodcents in a Walmart

November 16, 2022 // Franchising.com // OLATHE, Kan. - Goodcents franchisees Jake and Lindsay Campbell are celebrating the opening of their fourth restaurant and Goodcents’ first location in a Walmart this week. The restaurant is located at 13600 S. Alden St. in Olathe.

The grand opening celebration will begin with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. Thursday and numerous specials, including a combo meal deal and a “bounceback coupon” good for a free breakfast sandwich.

The Campbells purchased three existing Goodcents locations in 2021, including one in Olathe, where they live. This is the first new restaurant they have built.

“We are excited to debut this first Goodcents in a big-box store,” Jake Campbell said. “In addition to the Goodcents sandwiches that we all know and love, we will be offering some new products like breakfast sandwiches, coffee and Icees.”

The menu features Goodcents’ traditional and specialty sub sandwiches, which are served on the restaurant’s signature pillowy soft bread. The restaurant also offers Goodcents To Go meals, conveniently packaged dinner entrées that feature hearty pastas, chicken, pot roast and salmon, as well as delicious, freshly baked giant cookies.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the opening of Lindsay and Jake’s newest Goodcents and the first one for our brand to be built in a Walmart,” said Farrellynn Wolf, CEO of Goodcents.
