Spherion’s Doug DeLor Named to Entrepreneur’s List of 50 Franchise CMO Game-Changers

December 05, 2022 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA - Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) announced today that its Vice President of Marketing, Doug DeLor, has been named to Entrepreneur magazine’s first-ever list of Top 50 CMO Game-Changers.

“I’m incredibly humbled and proud to be recognized alongside other brilliant marketing executives in our industry,” said DeLor. “Joining Spherion at a time when businesses nationwide were struggling to retain and recruit talent due to pandemic-related employment issues certainly came with its challenges. However, my team and I saw it as an opportunity to accomplish our brand mission to drive careers, grow businesses and better the communities we call home.”

The marketing executives recognized on Entrepreneur’s Top 50 CMO Game-Changers were chosen based on information submitted by industry peers as well as the Entrepreneur team’s own independent research. DeLor was selected for launching Spherion’s ten-week national campaign, the Spherion Works Sweepstakes, in the summer of 2021. Initiated as a way to thank and reward its hard-working employees, the campaign awarded more than150 prizes to Spherion employees on active assignment who earned an entry into the sweepstakes for each week they worked during the campaign. As a result, Spherion saw an increase in job placements, an increase in new accounts secured and an accelerated increase in overall social engagement and media impressions.
