Moran Family of Brands Names 2022 Franchisees of the Year
December 07, 2022 // Franchising.com // Orland Park, IL - Moran Family of Brands announced its annual Franchisee of the Year winners for 2022. Moran named winners in its automotive and tint divisions.
Franchisees eligible for the award must have demonstrated Moran’s core values of D.R.I.V.E. (Dedication, Respect, Integrity, Vision, Enthusiasm). They also exhibit outstanding service to their customers and provide support for fellow franchisees and the entire system. Voting for the awards was done by Moran franchisees.
“We extend our sincerest congratulations to this year’s Franchisee of the Year honorees,” said Peter Baldine, President of Moran Family of Brands. “In addition to their success in business, these franchisees are also pillars in their community and regularly retain satisfied customers based on their quality of work and personal skills. They exemplify what it means to be a standout Moran franchisee.”
Grant Humston and Melissa Riedesel, owners of the Milex Complete Auto Care in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, were named Franchisees of the Year in the automotive division. The couple opened the first Milex store in Iowa in 2018.
“It is a tremendous honor to be selected by our peers as Franchisees of the Year, especially while still being relatively new to the system,” said Riedesel. “We have worked very hard to connect and collaborate with other franchise owners and it is a great feeling to be recognized by others across Moran Family of Brands.”
In the tint division, Greg and Chandler Goodman, owners of Turbo Tint in Oklahoma City were honored as its Franchisees of the Year. Greg has been part of the Moran Family of Brands for nearly 30 years, with many coming under the Alta Mere brand. Two years ago, Greg and his son Chandler helped develop the Turbo Tint concept featuring online ordering and automotive window tinting in one hour or less. This is the sixth time Greg Goodman has won the award.
“I am proud to be named Franchisee of the Year and it is especially rewarding to share this honor with Chandler as he has stepped into the role of Center Manager and is such a major part of the business,” said Greg Goodman. “The Turbo Tint concept has taken off in the two years since it was launched and we look forward to working with Moran to build the brand nationally.”
In addition to recognition, the selected franchisees also received a $5,000 voucher towards a vacation of their choice.
