Central Bark Appoints David Allison as Digital Media Manager

December 27, 2022 // Franchising.com // MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Central Bark®, the doggy day care industry pioneer, recently announced that David Allison has been appointed as digital media manager. This announcement comes as Central Bark is experiencing record setting growth, continuous double digit revenue gains, and the opening and signing of multiple new locations and development agreements.

Allison comes to Central Bark from Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade Franchising (Wow Wow) where he served as the director of marketing and oversaw consumer and franchise development marketing initiatives, social media, planning and strategies. At Wow Wow, he used social media, google analytics, and digital marketing data to help increase awareness and brand loyalty inside the stores while driving double digit customer acquisition through strategic campaigns. Earlier in his career, David was a marketing manager for multiple technology companies where he drove brand awareness via strategic marketing campaigns using Google Analytics, SEO research tools, and online promotional strategies. He’s also been a teacher, freelance writer, cross country coach, and was a division 1 track athlete in college.

“There was just something about Central Bark’s mission that resonated deep inside me,” said Allison. “The idea to forever nurture, enrich, and inspire whole health, happiness, and unconditional love for each dog, family, and community we serve is bigger than any one store or one person. That’s what makes Central Bark different, special, and better and why I wanted to be a part of this brand moving forward. I look forward to helping the brand and all our franchisees elevate their social media presence as we continue to deliver the absolute best in whole dog care to as many dogs as possible.”

For nearly 20 years, Central Bark has drawn in dogs and their owners across the country to experience its Enrichment Doggy Day Care, which combines Central Bark’s industry-leading doggy day care expertise with the latest in canine behavior science. Enrichment Doggy Day Care provides a healthy and balanced blend of exercise, social group play, learning, rest, and “TLC” to help dogs be healthy, happy, calm, and well-rounded members of the family. Furthermore, Central Bark also offers dog boarding, baths, grooming, a retail market, training and more.

“David comes to us with an extensive background in social media,” said Bob Crawford, CEO of Central Bark. “Central Bark is poised for some explosive growth in the coming year as we are seeing increasing demand for our services in the $123 billion pet care space. David’s experience in franchising and social media will be a huge help for us moving forward as we continue to build and grow our brand. We are excited to have him on the team!”
