Office with Decades of Staffing Experience Welcomes New Leadership

January 06, 2023 // Franchising.com // LEBANON, Pa. - Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) announced today its Lebanon office is under the new leadership of seasoned Spherion franchise owners, Don and Jay Ruggery. After 24 years in operation, the Ruggerys took over ownership responsibilities of the office on June 10.

“Don and I noticed the expansion of the Lebanon area, and we’ve wanted to be a part of this community for years now,” said Jay, co-owner of Spherion in Lebanon. “We look forward to continuing to help match people with the right career opportunities and expanding further in the community.”

Jay and Don Ruggery are long-time Spherion franchisees. The brothers have filled thousands of positions for local Pennsylvania businesses since 1992 when they worked with their father, Don Ruggery Sr., at his office in Altoona. With the acquisition of the Lebanon office, they now have 12 locations across Pennsylvania. Their offices primarily focus on matching employers and employees within food, plastics manufacturing, and warehousing and distribution in many industries. Their local teams specialize in filling entry-level to C-suite roles within their client organizations. Jay and Don are committed to carrying on their father’s business legacy by helping fellow Pennsylvanians make a living for themselves and their families.
