Chem-Dry Announces Signed Agreements as East Coast Development Strengthens in 2023

January 24, 2023 // Franchising.com // BALTIMORE - Chem-Dry kicks off 2023 with the announcement of three signed agreements across Maryland - servicing Carroll, Howard, Montgomery, and Prince George’s counties - as the brand strengthens its presence along the East Coast.

Behind these newly signed agreements are three franchisee groups who are already open and operating:

  • Jeffery and Sondra Jackson - This mother-son team are operating Chem-Dry in their hometown of Montgomery County. Ready for a new venture, they found comfort in the brand’s long-standing history and proven business model. The duo is eager to provide a much-needed service in their community.
  • Bianca Egalite - With an MBA and corporate background, Egalite always had an interest in business ownership. COVID layoffs only expedited her entrepreneurial journey and decision to get into business for herself. Seeing the immense demand for Chem-Dry’s services and the brand’s commitment to technology, a variety of revenue streams, and a sophisticated support team, Egalite knew she found her match.
  • Eric Bearinger - As a resident of Carroll County, Bearinger saw first hand the demand for Chem-Dry’s services and jumped at the opportunity to sign a multi-territory agreement. He has a background in the healthcare industry as a respiratory therapist, and looks forward to helping families make informed decisions about the health of their homes while creating lasting relationships.

Chem-Dry currently has franchises in operation across Maryland. As population continues to rise while demand remains strong, the brand is looking to add additional franchises across the state.

Chem-Dry creates cleaner, healthier indoor environments with its proprietary equipment and solutions for carpet, upholstery, granite countertops and hard floor surfaces, such as wood, tile and vinyl. In further testing of its processes, a study conducted by an independent laboratory concluded that the Chem-Dry Hot Carbonating Extraction cleaning method removes an average of common household allergens from carpets and upholstery. Chem-Dry has a national partnership with the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), working to raise awareness and provide education on the importance of indoor air quality in maintaining the health and safety of homes and businesses.
