Regenerative Medicine Clinics Come to California

February 22, 2023 // Franchising.com // SAN DIEGO - QC Kinetix recently expanded its reach into the golden state. The clinics in the San Diego offer regenerative medicine protocols. The first clinic opened in Hillcrest on January 5, while the second is in Torrey Hills and will begin welcoming patients in early March.

Owners Charlie Mescher and Michael Prus are passionate believers in regenerative medicine and wanted to open the first QC Kinetix clinic in California.

“We are thrilled to offer Southern California a different option for treatment of their pain that is different from our typical healthcare system,” says Mescher. “Our clinics are an educational outlet to teach patients about innovative medicine and treatments and how bypassing their health insurance works.”

Both Mescher and Prus live very active lifestyles with six kids between their two families. Mescher enjoys endurance races, while Prus is enthusiastic about biking.

“The two of us understand that if we don’t take care of our bodies, we won’t be able to enjoy these activities or keep up with our kids. The same goes for our friends and families. So, through our clinics, we want to ensure everyone can live the lifestyle they wish. Our main goal with this business is to help as many people as possible enjoy their lives,” says Mescher.

QC Kinetix uses all-natural biologic protocols that take the best of what the body naturally produces and uses it to aid in a patient’s recovery and give them back the quality of life they deserve. It’s an alternative to surgery, NSAIDs, and pain pills that mask the pain but don’t repair the problem. For patients seeking relief from pain due to musculoskeletal injury, chronic joint pain, or hip, knee, back, or shoulder pain, regenerative procedures are the next frontier for treatment.

Former Dallas Cowboys great and NFL MVP Emmitt Smith is the official spokesperson for QC Kinetix. He knows firsthand the need for innovative chronic pain treatments that help people get back to their active lifestyles. It used to be only elite athletes like Smith had access to regenerative medicine treatments, but rapid growth and innovation in the field have made the treatments accessible to everyone.

“So many Southern California residents will benefit from these treatments, from those who have retired to anyone enjoying an active lifestyle, as well as athletes and industry workers who can’t afford a long surgery recovery,” says Mescher.

Regenerative medicine can be used to address a wide variety of health conditions. Mescher, Prus, and their team are excited to begin providing hair restoration treatment options for men and women in the near future.

Scott Hoots, CEO of Charlotte-based QC Kinetix, is confident that Mescher, Prus, and their team will be an asset to the QC Kinetix franchise.

“Mescher and Prus are ideal QC Kinetix franchisees,” says Hoots. “Mescher’s background in sales and Prus’ experience with business management combined with their love of regenerative medicine makes them the perfect candidates for us.”
