Reena Patel of The Lash Lounge Awarded Franchisee of the Year by International Franchise Association

March 02, 2023 // Franchising.com // LAS VEGAS – The International Franchise Association (IFA) today named Reena Patel, multiunit owner of The Lash Lounge in Dr Phillips (Orlando), Lake Mary, Winter Park and Winter Garden, Florida, as a 2023 Franchisee of the Year. Patel was honored at the 63rd IFA Annual Convention in Las Vegas.

“Franchisee of the Year recipients represent the best in franchising,” said Matthew Haller, president and CEO of the International Franchise Association.

The Franchisee of the Year Award, sponsored by IFA’s partner Paychex, recognizes leading franchise owners from IFA member brands whose outstanding performance and contributions help protect, enhance, and promote the franchise business model. Nominated by their parent company, individuals are selected for their service to their communities, fostering a strong and vibrant workforce, opening the doors for career growth and entrepreneurship, and supporting their fellow franchisees.

Patel joined The Lash Lounge organization in 2019, then as a single-unit operator of The Lash Lounge Dr. Phillips – Orlando. Reena embodies the intelligence, leadership, grit and spirit of a successful Lash Lounge franchisee, with a positivity and drive that inspires and motivates her growing team to achieve competitive revenue milestones and exceptional guest service alike. Reena’s tireless, energetic pursuit of excellence is a legacy she pursues not only for herself but her two young sons.

“I couldn’t be prouder to congratulate Reena on the high honor of achieving IFA’s Franchisee of the Year Award. Reena is absolute dynamite. She is incredible, determined—with year-round excitement. She is a natural-born leader with an attitude that is absolutely positive and infectious. She motivates her people; she inspires her team,” said Meg Roberts, CEO and president of The Lash Lounge.

According to Oxford Economics, franchising on average provides higher wages and better benefits than non-franchised businesses, as well as greater entrepreneurial opportunities to minorities, women, veterans, and other underrepresented communities.
