The Franchise of the Year Award is given to a franchise that ranks highest in a combination of total sales, percentage of growth, dollar growth, new customer development and exceptional customer satisfaction, and overall contribution to the system. Individuals are selected for their positive attitude, their positive representation of the brand, and their willingness to help peers and the team at the home office.

Zhang and Galkin both grew up in small family business environments with backgrounds in supply chain and operations and believed in the redbox+ Dumpsters model since day one. Their caring culture has created a strong employee environment, consisting of a close-knit team that runs a successful franchise operation.
