Local Business Owner Receives Franchisee of the Year Award at National Convention

Entrepreneur Tommy Hoopsick Honored for Dedication to Providing The Philadelphia Main Line, Richmond, VA, and Surrounding Areas with Top-Tier Air Duct Cleaning and Dryer Vent Cleaning Services

May 24, 2023 // Franchising.com // KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. – DUCTZ is thrilled to announce that Tommy Hoopsick, owner of DUCTZ of DelChester and DUCTZ of Richmond Southside, VA, recently earned the DUCTZ Franchisee of the Year award at the BELFOR Franchise Group Annual National Convention in Las Vegas. 

The Franchisee of the Year award is given to a franchise owner who has displayed great dedication to their brand, earning record sales, customer growth and customer satisfaction. In 2022, Hoopsick was awarded for his high-ranking sales, incredible customer feedback, as well as the positive impact in the communities his locations both serve.

Hoopsick first entered the indoor air quality industry while in high school when he worked for the former owner of DUCTZ of Richmond Southside prior to purchasing the location. DUCTZ of Richmond Southside originally opened in 2009, and Hoopsick took ownership in 2012. Hoopsick’s certifications include ASCS, VSMR, IDL, WRT, CCT, UFT, CDET, PAC, CVI, SPRAT Level I.

He takes pride in owning a family-oriented business. Tommy’s mom is the administrative manager of the DUCTZ of Richmond Southside location, and his dad and brother assist with jobs in the field. Hoopsick then opened his second location, DUCTZ of DelChester, near Philadelphia, PA in 2016 and has been a proponent for programs encouraging young entrepreneurs to follow their dreams of business ownership.
