Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream Opens Tennessee Location in Nashville Area

New Brentwood nitrogen ice cream shop to celebrate grand opening by giving away free small ice creams with two Mix-N’s on Saturday, July 8th

June 30, 2023 // Franchising.com // NASHVILLE – Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream (Chill-N) announced today that it will be making its Tennessee debut on Saturday, July 8 with the opening of its newest location in Brentwood. Located at 5002 Thoroughbred Lane in the Merchants Walk Shopping Center, the Brentwood Chill-N is owned and operated by husband-and-wife franchisees Wesley and Angela Langlois who fell in love with the brand while living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and decided to bring the concept to the Volunteer State for the first time. In celebration of its grand opening, the new Brentwood shop will be giving away free small ice creams with two Mix-N’s on Saturday, July 8 from 1 to 10 p.m. (limit one free ice cream per guest).

“With nitrogen ice cream, it’s a fun, creative, and immersive experience that results in the creamiest, most velvet-textured, and best-tasting ice cream you’ll ever have. It’s one of the reasons that Angela and I became fans of Chill-N while we were living in Florida, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring the brand to the greater Nashville area,” said Wesley Langlois, owner of Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream Nashville (Brentwood). “Come try for yourself on Saturday, July 8 where we’ll be giving out free small ice creams. We can’t wait to see you there!”

The Brentwood Chill-N is incorporating distinct Nashville flavors into its menu by partnering with three beloved local companies to offer as ice cream Mix-N’s, including Goo Goo Clusters, a tasty combination of nuts, caramel, nougat, and milk chocolate in deliciously rounded cluster; coffee from a local coffee roaster; and honey from Williams Honey Farm, an all-natural beekeeping operations based in Middle Tennessee.

Here’s how Chill-N works: customers choose a portion size, then an ice cream base (milk, yogurt, or alt-milk option – coconut, almond, or oat) and then a flavor. Then the fun begins with the addition of Mix-N’s: premium toppings including candies, cookies and cereal, fresh fruit, sauces, nuts, and more. Each scoop of ice cream is hand-crafted to order, and flash frozen on the spot using liquid nitrogen at a startling -320° Fahrenheit. Chill-N’s unique freezing process results in a fresh ice cream that is ridiculously rich and decadently creamy.

“The opening of our Nashville-area location marks our entry into our third state, and we’re thrilled to serve this community and show them what Chill-N is all about,” said David Leonardo, CEO of Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream. “We couldn’t ask for better owners than the Langlois and look forward to all they will accomplish with our brand in the great state of Tennessee.”

The new Brentwood Chill-N is open Mondays – Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
