TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Veterans Secure First Franchise

Full-Service Moving Company Helps Longtime Employees Achieve American Dream

July 11, 2023 // Franchising.com // LANSING, Mich. - TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® tapped two industry veterans to help its Lexington, Kentucky franchise continue to flourish.

Rob Wallace and Anthony Jent are moving the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK brand forward as the new co-owners of the Lexington location. As the first venture for their new partnership, they purchased the Lexington location from Mike Lally, the current owner of 14 TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations in Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.

“Owning multiple franchises has been my goal for many years. It’s a great feeling to be taking this huge step with a solid partner who shares the same focus and ideals,” Wallace said.

The pair has kept the location’s current team in place during the transition, and they are committed to fostering growth and building community in the Lexington area.

“We will keep working with local charities in Lexington while also looking for more ways to get involved in the community and bring positive exposure to the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK brand,” Wallace said.

Wallace began his career at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK in 1996 as a driver in Columbus, Ohio. He worked with several locations before joining the Lally franchise group nearly 10 years ago, with his sights set on ownership. Jent also started as a driver in Cincinnati and worked his way through the ranks to his current role in management. In addition to managing the Lexington location, the pair will continue in their roles with the Lally franchise group, where Jent is the VP of Operations and Wallace is Senior Vice President.

“We have both been with the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system for years, and we’re looking forward to working together as partners in the Lexington franchise,” Jent said.

Many franchise owners in the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system got their start by working for an existing owner.
