Bach to Rock Music School Announces Grand Opening of New Corporate School in Scarsdale, NY

August 19 Grand Opening Will Feature Regional DJ “Hard Hittin Harry,” along with Tours, Free Lessons, and Performances on the Bach to Rock Stage

August 02, 2023 // Franchising.com // Bethesda, MD – Bach to Rock proudly announces it is opening a new corporate school in Scarsdale, New York. The community is invited to the free grand opening on Saturday, August 19, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at 969-B Central Park Avenue, Scarsdale, NY 10583.  Special guest DJ, Harry D’Janite a.k.a. “Hard Hittin Harry,” will be spinning tunes throughout the day.  Attendees can enjoy free demonstrations of two early childhood classes: “Rock City “at 10:00 a.m., followed by “Kids N Keys” at 11:00 a.m. Additionally, there will be tours, information sessions about private and group lessons, and instructors will be jamming on the main stage. Plus, guests can enter prize drawings and giveaways, and check out the recording studio. The school will serve students from (but not limited to) Scarsdale, White Plains, Eastchester, Ardsley, Hartsdale and Westchester County.

The Bach to Rock curriculum combines one-on-one instruction with group practice and live performance. Students get to choose which songs and genres they want to learn — from classical sonatas to heavy metal riffs and chart-topping modern hits. “Across the country, Bach to Rock schools have become centerpieces in their towns; a hub where students, parents and families become friends, and also bond with our staff and instructors. We are eager to become part of, and give back to, the Scarsdale community.”

Brooklyn, New York-based DJ “Hard Hittin Harry” will be performing at the August 19 grand opening as he encourages up-and-coming spin masters to pursue their dreams on how to become a top DJ through Bach to Rock’s Beat Refinery® DJ lessons. Bach to Rock provides practical and artistic training for aspiring DJs and producers and teaches students how to master the turntables and use industry-leading software like Serato and Ableton Live.

Bach to Rock Scarsdale offers programs for students of all ages including: individual and group lessons in piano, voice, guitar, drums and more; “Rock City” for preschoolers and “Rock and Roll” for toddlers; beginning piano “Kids n Keys” for children in grades K-2; and summer camps and birthday parties. Plus, students can get involved in a glee club or rock band.
