Sarpino’s USA Signs New Franchise Deal in South Florida with Former McDonald’s Franchisee to Bring New Restaurants to Miami

August 16, 2023 // Franchising.com // MIAMI, FL - Sarpino’s USA is proud to announce the signing of its newest franchise agreement with Evangeline Banks, and Norflette and Leronnie Harris to establish the brand’s newest restaurant in Miami, Fla. The father-son-and-daughter entrepreneurial team, who live in South Florida, were customers of Sarpino’s USA in Miramar, Fla. first before they decided to invest and open their own restaurant.

“After spending a considerable number of years as franchisees of McDonald’s before exiting that system, we have an acute understanding of the franchise model and the power behind a great brand,” said Leronnie Harris. “As customers of Sarpino’s USA, we absolutely fell in love with the food and its made-from-scratch approach to delivery. We knew right away that this was the next great brand we wanted to be a part of. Its artisanal approach to pizza delivery, inclusive menu, and a completely separate vegan menu, is the kind of disruptive restaurant energy we wanted to get behind.”

Today, Sarpino’s USA offers more than 60 specialty and gourmet pizzas, roughly 20 calzones and 20 sandwiches, 12 pastas, 11 salads, three bone-in wing flavors, and a variety of appetizers, plus an entire separate vegan menu. In a world of sameness and low-quality, factory-made pizzas, Sarpino's USA has forged an entirely different path and makes its food from scratch, taking an artisanal approach to pizza-making simply not found in big chains.
