Upscale Neighborhood Grocer Opens with New Ownership

September 01, 2023 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA, GA - Savi Provisions, neighborhood market with locally sourced gourmet and organic foods and fine wines, announced today the opening of its Peachtree Hills location with new ownership. Located at 365 Peachtree Hills Ave, just a short drive down the road from Peachtree Hills Park, this new market concept is led by Bishwa Tamang of Savi Provision Peachtree Hills.

Growing up in Nepal, Bishwa was always surrounded by entrepreneurs, as his family owned a successful carpet company and imparted their business prowess onto him. So from a young age, he knew that he one day wanted to own and operate his own business. He was first introduced to Savi when he worked as an employee at several of its locations, including Savi Inman Park and Savi Pharr Road, among others. After gaining experience in the store’s management and operations, he was presented the opportunity to take on ownership of the Peachtree Hills location.

“I gained a lot of hands-on experience interacting with customers as an employee of Savi and, at the end of the day, I know that my relationship with them is such a key part of successfully running this business,” says Bishwa. “I’m really looking forward to contributing to the local community, having Savi become a neighborhood staple and giving our customers a unique grocery experience, offering them locally sourced organic foods and a plentiful stash of hard-to-find wines.”

Since its inception in 2009, Savi Provisions has revisited and refined the role of the original grocers who built generational relationships with their neighborhood. Each of its locations is given best-in-class tools and training to work closely with local farmers, vineyards, distilleries, and distributors to serve their community in the best way possible.

Savi Provisions Peachtree Hills will be open Mon- Sun 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
