Christian Brothers Automotive Showcases Importance of Development & Fellowship at Mastering the Difference Conference

October 13, 2023 // Franchising.com // HOUSTON – Christian Brothers Automotive recently celebrated its ninth-annual Mastering the Difference Conference (MTD) in Houston. The yearly gathering brings together automotive technicians and service team members from CBA shops across the country over four days, providing a platform for learning, networking and recognition.

“The Mastering the Difference conference is a great opportunity for our brand to come together, strengthen relationships and learn from industry professionals. This year’s conference not only showcased our commitment to excellence in the automotive space but also highlighted the importance of community and camaraderie,” said Donnie Carr, President and CEO of Christian Brothers Automotive.

Alongside Christian Brothers Automotive team members were a variety of keynote speakers, including Chick-fil-A marketing pioneer David Salyers, Master Technician and host of the MotorTrend TV show All Girls Garage Bogi Lateiner and Pastor Jason Robinson of the Church of the King.

During the conference, attendees participated in an impactful service project known as “Feed the Hunger.” The organization aims to identify vulnerable children at risk of starvation or malnutrition, provide immediate nutritional resources, and invest in their long-term success through education and spiritual growth. The attendees at Christian Brothers Automotive’s MTD conference packaged over 75,600 meals for children in need throughout the world.

During the event, the brand’s coveted Lighthouse award was presented to Megan Roan, Business Development Officer for Christian Brothers Automotive Rufe-Snow and Weatherford. This award is given to individuals who make a meaningful impact in their communities; Roan was the 2023 recipient for her incredible work with the nonprofit Unfaulted and her contributions to the company’s National Service Day each year.

Additionally, William Link, dedicated technician at Christian Brothers Automotive Virginia Beach, received the Auto Care Association (ASE) World Class Technician Certification. This accolade is a testament to Link’s unwavering commitment to excellence in the field of automotive service. Among the 250,000 ASE-certified technicians in the United States, only 2,000 have achieved the status since 1986, with fewer than 50 attaining it annually.

Founded in Mission Bend, Texas in 1982, Christian Brothers Automotive has strived to change the way that guests think about their auto care experience. Ranked number one by J.D. Power in Customer Satisfaction among Aftermarket Full-Service Maintenance and Repair Providers four times in a row*, Christian Brothers Automotive’s number one priority is creating a positive experience for every guest.
