Kona Ice Honored as Top 100 Most Innovative Franchise and Leading Franchise for Veterans

Franchise Business Review Recognizes Mobile Shaved Ice Company for Innovation and Veteran Service

October 23, 2023 // Franchising.com // FLORENCE, Ky. – Kona Ice, the northern Kentucky-based shaved ice franchise, was identified by Franchise Business Review as one of the 100 franchise brands to be named on the Most Innovative Franchises and one of 60 franchise brands on the Top Franchises for Veterans report. To identify the companies on the list of this year’s Most Innovative Franchises and Top Franchises for Veterans, Franchise Business Review analyzed 18 months’ worth of data from nearly 38,000 franchisees representing more than 385 brands. Franchise owners were asked about their brand’s innovation and creativity as well as their trust in the franchisor, overall satisfaction with the brand, and likelihood to recommend it to others.

Kona Ice’s franchisees were surveyed on 33 questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including leadership, training & support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations, and financial opportunity. Kona Ice’s survey data showed the following: 98% of franchisees responded “agree” or “strongly agree” when asked if they respect their franchisor, 99% of franchisees are likely to invest in Kona Ice again and recommend the franchise to others and 98% of franchisees enjoy being part of the organization and operating their business.
