Allegra Marketing Print Mail in Providence Donates Free Signage to Help Give a Local Nonprofit a Boost

October 31, 2023 // Franchising.com // PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Allegra Marketing Print Mail in Providence recently announced a winner of its nationwide sweepstakes titled “Funding Five,” a contest offering small businesses the chance to win free services from Allegra.

Pawtucket Central Falls Development (PCF) was the selected contest winner and recipient of the Funding Five award, $500 in free services from Allegra Providence. PCF is a Nonprofit committed to overseeing and advancing affordable housing for residents within Pawtucket and Central Falls.

“There is a housing crisis in Rhode Island, and we want to stress the importance that PCF Development is here to help with obtaining safe, quality, affordable housing,” said Linda Weisinger, Executive Director of PCF. “Most of our community outreach efforts involve distributing flyers and brochures. With Allegra's donation, PCF can expand its outreach efforts by incorporating captivating signage to grab the attention of more people within the community, helping to build awareness around PCF while making it easier for those in need to get help."

PCF, also a long-standing customer of Allegra Providence, collaborated with the company to design signage that aligned with its brand identity. Allegra Providence provided A-frame signs, inserts and a 10.5-foot-tall feather sign, specially tailored for open house purposes. These donated signs were intentionally designed with a broad, versatile appeal, ensuring that PCF can utilize them for upcoming open houses and events.

“Collaborating with PCF was an exceptional experience of giving back to a loyal customer and company dedicated to community support,” said Bud McCann, owner of Allegra Providence. “The project, from the initial design phase to the final delivery, spanned approximately three weeks. Much of this timeline was dedicated to productive discussions and conceptualization, which Charlie Cote, Allegra graphic designer, used to develop multi-use and compelling signage that aligned with PCF’s vision. We’re thrilled to be able to support PCF in their goals to help others in the community.”

The Funding Five campaign aligns with Allegra's core values of community support. Each year, Allegra Providence creates campaigns aimed at providing support to local nonprofits. This is done through Allegra's FootPRINT fund which grants Print awards in January, as well as Allegra's Rise’NLearn seminar where the brand brings in industry experts to help improve its fundraising effectiveness. Through these initiatives, Allegra underscores the significance it places on nonprofits while actively contributing to and making a positive impact in the community.
