Spearheading the expansion of the Dill Dinkers club in the southern region are the husband-and-wife duo, Karen and Brian Birdy, the brand’s first regional developers. As established owners of PMI Birdy Properties, a three-generation family business with a deep-rooted reputation, they are well-suited for their roles as regional developers of Dill Dinkers in San Antonio. With their ability to own and operate the multi-pillar residential property management company in South Texas, the Birdy’s are thrilled to share the joy of pickleball with players.

The Birdy’s personal connection to the sport played a pivotal role in their decision to become the first regional developers of Dill Dinkers. Like many pickleball enthusiasts, they picked up pickleball in 2020 during the pandemic, and quickly became passionate about the sport leading them to join a league. As the sport’s popularity began to soar, the Birdy’s sought a dedicated and structured place to play pickleball when weather permitted. After learning about Dill Dinkers, the Birdy’s saw an opportunity to quickly act and introduce the concept to Texas.
