Zaxby’s Adds Second To-Go-Only Restaurant to Memphis

December 06, 2023 // Franchising.com // ATHENS, Ga. - Zaxby's® is introducing its newest restaurant design to the East Memphis community with its to-go-only concept. The new Zaxby's is owned and operated by Memphis Foods, LLC, and will open for to-go-only service on Monday, Dec. 11 at 436 Perkins Ext.

“We’re thrilled to serve both new and loyal Zaxby’s guests with our first ever Zaxby’s location in the East Memphis neighborhood,” said Jeremy Gattie of Memphis Foods, LLC. “With the opening of our 10th store in Shelby County, this marks a significant chapter in our journey. Serving East Memphis has been a longtime goal of ours and the excitement is shared by all who have played a part in making it a reality.”

Zaxby's new to-go-only location offers expedited service with a double drive-thru layout, new digital menu boards, a payment window, as well as a drive-thru delivery door for faster pay and pickup. The new design also includes a walk-up window for guests to place take-out orders. The restaurant does not offer indoor seating.

For even faster service, customers may also order delivery directly through the Zaxby’s app.

Zaxby's serves fresh, prepared-at-order Chicken Fingerz and wings tossed in a variety of bold and spicy sauces. The menu features the wildly popular Fried Chicken Philly limited-time offer, Zaxby's fan-favorite Fried Pickles and its most recently added LTO–Chicken Parm Loaded Fries. The new menu item starts with Zaxby’s crispy, crinkle-cut fries, topped with its signature hand-breaded chicken and parmesan cheese. The dish is then drizzled with garlic aioli and marinara sauce to give it a rich and savory flavor. The snackable delicacy is still available at participating locations until Jan. 8, 2024.

The franchisee contracted local, Memphis-based company Dimension Construction to build the new restaurant.
