Smalls Sliders® Launches Limited-Time King Cake Shake to Celebrate Mardi Gras

Trending Cheeseburger Slider Brand Bolsters Line of Cold Indulgences for Fat Tuesday

January 03, 2024 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA – Smalls Sliders, the cheeseburger slider concept that is painting the QSR industry ‘Smorange™’, announced its latest limited-time menu offering officially available to the public starting January 1.

Slidin’ thru all Smalls Sliders locations until February 18, guests will be able to try the brand-new King Cake Shake, an homage to the Mardi Gras holiday. The King Cake Shake features the beloved flavors of the holiday, with hints of the famous Danish dough, cinnamon, and signature icing that are reminiscent of the traditional King Cake. While supplies last, guests who purchase the King Cake Shake will receive an orange Mardi Gras-themed doubloon redeemable for a free side of Smalls Sliders signature ‘smauce’ or queso on their next visit.

In addition, Smalls Sliders will be teaming up Joe Gambino’s Bakery, a Louisiana-based cake company with a nationwide footprint, to give away a limited number of their famous King Cakes to guests across Smalls Sliders’ growing fanbase. The brand also partnered with Kayla Giddens from the hit Netflix show Is It Cake? to recreate a Smalls Sliders milkshake cup entirely out of cake for a social media teaser. The “cake” shake Giddens made features signature Mardi Gras colors to give Squad members the inside scoop on what’s to come.  

This LTO marks Smalls Sliders’ fourth seasonal campaign, having previously launched a limited-time offering during the summer months, and other promotions during Halloween and the recent holiday season.
