Travel Advisor Wins National Business Award in Celebration of Women’s History Month

March 11, 2024 // Franchising.com // Fort Lauderdale, Fla. - Dream Vacations celebrates Women’s History Month in March by honoring a female travel advisor with the OPAL Award for Women. The company has named Dream Vacations Franchisee Amy Madson the 2024 recipient of this prestigious award.

The OPAL Award recognizes a female franchise owner who exemplifies Outstanding Performance And Leadership. The honorees are active in the community and civic organizations and demonstrate leadership within Dream Vacations.

“Amy is the embodiment of what it means to be a true leader and industry asset,” said Debbie Fiorino, chief operating officer for Dream Vacations. “She provides guidance, positivity, mentorship and creativity in every aspect of her business. As a resident of Orlando, Fla., Madson has more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry and is active within the Dream Vacations family. Madson & Associates is part of the illustrious Dream Vacations’ Circle of Excellence.

Personally, and professionally, Madson is heavily involved in her community generously giving back and volunteering her time. She uses her network to help drive success with organizations such as the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) Central Florida Chapter, Make-A-Wish®, Best Friends Animal Society, Rikki’s Refuge Animal Sanctuaries and other Central Florida charities.
