Island Fin Poké Co. is Celebrating Its Downers Grove, IL Location’s Anniversary with Free Poké for Guests

Island Fin Poké Co. is offering an exciting promotion to celebrate the Downers Grove location’s anniversary. On Saturday, April 6, guests can receive free poké bowls from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and an additional 25 percent off each purchase for the remainder of the day, as a token of appreciation for welcoming the brand into the community.

Located at 76 Ogden Ave, Downers Grove, IL 60515, this location is Island Fin’s first location in Ill., which opened in July 2021. However, Ni and Ed Polzen took over the location last year in April 2023 and have been engaging with the community ever since. As Ni and Ed celebrate their first year of ownership, they hope to welcome as many guests and newcomers as they can through their community relationships during this celebration.

“Since taking over this location, we've been rebuilding old connections and making new ones with the community with lots of engagement and still going,” said Ni. “We’ve been working on building strong relationships by organizing fundraisers for Orchard Brook Swim and Westmont High School, sponsoring the Hinsdale Central 5k and connecting with local gyms, like Orange Theory, LA Fitness, XSport Fitness, Hustle Fitness, Iron Flag Fitness, BODY20 and CycleBar. We've also learned that marketing and talking to our fellow neighbors goes a long way to building loyal guests.”
