Boba Pops in for Spring at the Human Bean

April 03, 2024 // Franchising.com // Big, bold, boba flavors are making a limited-time debut at The Human Bean locations across the U.S. starting April 3, 2024. Customers popping in to their local drive-thru will find sweet spheres of boba available to add to their favorite drinks - including coffee classics, frozen favorites, and even the company’s new, proprietary Bright Energy® drinks.

The Human Bean guests can choose from Brown Sugar Crystal Boba with a chewy, jelly-like texture and rich brown sugar flavor, or Mango Bursting Boba with a soft outer shell that bursts with a pop of sweet mango juice.

“Boba holds significant allure for a younger population, who tend to be more adventurous with exploring diverse culinary trends.,” says Janie Page, chief marketing officer of The Human Bean. “The sweet flavor and the unique experience of ‘drinking and eating’ simultaneously contribute to its popularity among kids, teenagers, and young adults.”

The Human Bean is sweetening the launch with three must-try boba combinations for drive-thru visitors:

• Cha Chai Boba
  Robust, earthy and spicy - The Human Bean’s signature chai gets a sweet-and-chewy upgrade with Brown Sugar Boba. Each sip is a whirlwind of warmth, spice, and gooey delights.
• Boba B.O.M.B
  Capture the tropical spirit with sparkling Bright Original and bursting fruity flavor. The “Bright Original Mango Boba” features Peach, Raspberry and Passion Fruit, accented with Mango Bursting Boba.
• Mango Burst
  Better together - Moroccan Mint Green Tea is swirled with tangy lemonade, mango syrup, and Mango Bursting Boba. It’s an iced mango-charged match for spring’s outdoor adventures.

Baristas will be encouraging customers to experiment with their own custom boba creations for a limited time only. As always, all drinks are served with The Human Bean’s signature pop of flavor on top - a chocolate-covered espresso bean. Find boba available at all drive-thru locations through May 21, 2024 or while supplies last.
