Row House Commemorates Decade of Success with Month Long Celebration in April

April 08, 2024 // // IRVINE, Calif. - This April, Row House celebrates 10 years in business. Founded by Debra Strougo and Eric Frohlich in 2014 and later acquired by Xponential Fitness, is inviting members and newcomers to participate in its “Decade of Row House” Challenge, running April 18-27 and culminating in a “birthday party” across studios on the final weekend of April. During the challenge, participants will row through the years as the brand reflects on its remarkable journey, celebrates the present, and chronicles the evolution of its class types and playlists with a series of throwback workouts. Some of the throwback classes include Founder’s Favorite, the preferred workout of Co-Founder Eric Frohlich; Strength, the popular format introduced in 2022; and a 10K Partner Relay to cap everything off on April 27.

Rowers also have the chance to win a Princess Cruise by participating in and completing the Challenge. Of those who sign up for the challenge and complete 10 classes between April 18-27, ten lucky winners will be chosen for a Princess Cruise voyage for themselves and a friend.

To celebrate the end of the Decade of Row House Challenge and the brand’s birthday, Row House will be going live on Instagram from all open studios on April 27th at 7 a.m. PDT/10 a.m. EDT.

“When we opened our first studio in 2014, we knew that we could deliver great results and a wonderful sense of camaraderie if people chose to come through our doors,” said Eric Von Frohlich, Co-Founder of Row House.

Row House thrives off providing everyone with an experience that fosters a genuine connection to the sport of rowing while helping to achieve their personal fitness goals on and off the rower. Not only do members row in-sync to the beat of the music at times during classes, all studios include state-of-the-art Concept2 rowing machines, which are used worldwide by elite-level and everyday athletes. Row House partners, including Concept2 and Blueshift Nutrition, will also be featured as part of the 10 year celebration.

There are fitness options for everybody at Row House, with six proprietary class formats – Signature, Strength, Full Row, Restore, Intervals and Foundation – featuring movements on and off the rower and ranging from 30 to 45 minutes in length. Under the guidance of expert coaches, members work out 100% of their body’s muscles to achieve the results they deserve.
