Multi-Unit AtWork® Franchisee Adds New California Location

April 16, 2024 // Franchising.com // LONG BEACH, Calif. - AtWork opened a new location in Long Beach, California, under the leadership of multi-unit franchisee Josee Minero. The new branch, which has been operating since October 2023, officially opened its doors in April to walk-in candidates, marking a significant expansion of AtWork's presence in the Southern California region.

Minero, who has three decades of experience in the staffing industry, launched her first AtWork location in Southern California in 2017. She began her career as a receptionist at a national staffing firm and quickly climbed the ranks, eventually managing the company’s operations in California, Oregon, and Washington as division vice president, before pursuing entrepreneurship. Today she also owns additional AtWork locations in California, Florida, and Missouri. She chose Long Beach as part of her latest expansion push for its rich history and vibrant community of people and businesses.
